Angled internal walls
Square-shaped cabinets exhibit problems with standing waves. To combat them, additional angled internal walls were introduced to the cabinets of the M series loudspeakers, reducing the number of parallel internal surfaces.

Form that serves the sound
Throughout years of continuous work on the project it was made sure that not a single part of the cabinet can interfere with the quality of sound. Despite such a functional mindset behind the design, the aesthetic aspect has not been left out either: the cabinet uses the basic figure of a cross-section square, making the design timeless and easy to integrate into any interior.
Exclusive to Audes
Solid-surface cabinet
A cabinet material very few loudspeaker manufacturers have ever mastered.
The main section is made of a solid surface material composed mainly of aluminium trihydrate. Its much higher density and tensile strength compared to wood-based materials result in a stiff cabinet with minimal vibrations, significantly reducing colouration of sound.

Downward-firing bass reflex
All loudspeakers in the series are bass reflex systems. The port sits under the front wall and fires downwards, giving more predictable behaviour in different rooms and a smaller form factor. Its shape also makes it harder for stray sound waves inside the cabinet to escape, and it is divided into several separate channels to better control the airflow.

Isolated crossover
To further minimise any harmful mechanical influences, the crossover is placed in a separate compartment.

Single-crystal copper
Single-crystal copper wiring is used throughout the system to ensure clear, but absolutely neutral sound without excessive brightness.

Proprietary woofers, built in-house
The woofer is designed and manufactured by Audes, specifically tuned for the M series. The silk dome tweeter’s characteristics allowed a relatively low crossover for the loudspeakers in the series.

The flagship of the series. A 10″ Audes woofer, two 5¼″ woofers and a fabric dome tweeter deliver full-range sound down to 40 Hz from a cabinet that stays out of the way of the music.

The same uncompromising cabinet in a more compact form. A 6½″ Audes woofer and a fabric dome tweeter, crossed over at 1,100 Hz, for rooms where space is precious but sound is not negotiable.
